Joseph started his career at Capital Management Services (CMS Advisors) in the back-office learning how to trade the various strategies that CMS utilizes for the firm. After a few years of becoming accustomed to market cycles and trading strategies he started his own office in Westlake Village, California in 2014. He started teaching educational courses on Social Security, Medicare, Retirement Planning, Market Strategies, Tax Planning, Legacy Planning and Advanced Financial Strategies for the Elite.

In 2018 Joseph became the Chief Operating Officer for Capital Management Services and has expanded the firm to include new advisors and various offices across the United States. In 2020 Joseph helped form and organize CMS Institutional, LLC which is an SEC registered Third Party Money management company focused on unique tactical financial strategies. These strategies are utilized with the Capital Management Services clients across the country as well as utilized by thousands of financial professionals in the financial services industry.

The St. Louis native is insurance-licensed in Missouri, Illinois, and California. He passed his Series 65 securities exam to become an Investment Advisor Representative and holds a bachelor’s degree from Southwest Missouri State University in business management and marketing. He spends his time between Chicago, St. Louis and Los Angeles visiting with various CMS offices as well as meeting with other financial professionals mentoring them on business development.

Although Joseph’s roles and responsibilities have increased over the years, he does work with and still enjoys working with individual client and families. His passion is helping someone understand that they can achieve their financial goals, if they put a solid plan in place, implement that plan and follow it for success.
